UTA’s College of Business is hosting its annual Business Week during March 23-27, 2020. This is a time when dozens of area managers and executives speak to our classes and share their vast wealth of experience and knowledge with our students.
On behalf of Dean Harry Dombroski, I invite you to speak to one or two classes during that week. We have classes during mornings, afternoons and evenings, so we should be able to accommodate your availability.
Speaking to a class takes about 50 minutes, including Q&A. You can feel free to speak on any topic you feel appropriate/interesting (it doesn’t have to be what the course is about). Students always appreciate hearing about your background and career path, what your company does and what you do, and any advice you have for students to begin a successful career.
At the end of February, we will start matching up speakers with classes and should let you know which class you would speak to by early March. I know conflicts arise with schedules, but we should be able to deal with any issues.
Please let me know if you would be able to speak anytime during March 23-27, and what your time availability is during that week no later than Monday, February 24, 2020. Please fill out the attached hyperlink form: https://www.uta.edu/php-lib/machform/view.php?id=4185
Business Week is a meaningful opportunity for students to hear from successful business people, and your participation is a chance to have a positive impact on many students.
