Get Involved

Each year, CPAs make children's lives brighter with clothes and a holiday gift. This year, the need is great and there are three ways to participate.

The children we're helping include those in care at the Center for Transforming Lives (many are homeless) and the students at Rivertree Academy, an independent school for children in Como, an economically depressed area of Fort Worth.

Shop for a Center for Transforming Lives child or a Como child.

1. Be an Elf: receive the name or names of children for whom to purchase a gift and clothes.

Contact chief elf Molly Hunter to get on the list:

You will receive the name and size of your "adopted" child, with gift suggestion from the child's teacher. Click on the catalog below, and scroll to your child’s age to find the shopping link. These children need basic clothing, like socks and underwear, as well as shirts and pants. Click the catalog picture to shop.

Monetary donations are welcome and needed! Make a donation to the Santaccountants program; make your check (any amount) payable to Fort Worth Chapter TSCPA CE Corp., a charitable corporation. Your contribution is deductible.

The Santaccountants committee utilizes cash donations to ensure students who are enrolled after the deadline receive gifts.  Donations will also be used to support programs at the CTL and Rivertree Academy, including purchasing gifts for students to shop for their families at the Christmas party at Rivertree December 15. Cash contributions are an effective support to the in-kind effort made by our colleagues with their purchases of toys and clothing.

Mail to:

550 Bailey Ave, Suite 225 Fort Worth, TX 76107

Please note “Santaccountants” on your donation.

For over 20 years, Fort Worth CPAs have provided Christmas gifts to the children in the Children at the Center For Transforming Lives (CTL, formerly known as the YWCA). In 2017, we are delighted to include the students attending the Rivertree Academy in Como.
For many of the families, these gifts made up their entire Christmas.

Four out of five of the children served at a CTL child care facility are from low-income families, including those in extreme poverty and homelessness. More than 75% of children age 5 and younger in emergency shelters and transitional housing programs in this region are cared for by the CTL, at no cost to their parents. Rivertree Academy students live in Como, an economically disadvantaged area of Fort Worth. 80% of the students attending the school are from families earning less than $15,000 a year.
