DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas (February 16, 2017) – Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest with nine offices across the United States, announces that Jim Jones, JD joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner in tax and strategic business services, and Rebekah Reeder, CPA was promoted to assurance partner in the Fort Worth office.

Jim Jones joins Weaver with more than 20 years of public accounting tax experience including corporate restructurings, tax compliance and corporate tax planning. He has worked with companies in the oilfield services, telecommunications, midstream energy services and retail, manufacturing and distribution industries. Jones is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Rebekah Reeder, CPA

Rebekah Reeder joined Weaver in 2005 and has more than 11 years of experience overseeing audits for investment management and hedge funds, private equity and venture capital funds, broker-dealers, financial institutions, and manufacturing and distribution companies. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the Texas Hedge Fund Association (THFA) and Texas Wall Street Women (TXWSW). She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Hardin-Simmons University.
