What If You Had No Gift to Give?

Fort Worth CPAs are pitching in for students attending Rivertree Academy in Como. gift for sister

Most live in poverty.  Students’ average household income is below $20,000. Unless someone helps, these students will not have gifts for their moms, dads, brothers and sisters.

The UP Group will host a holiday party for the students, including a shopping experience so they have gifts to give their families.

Here are three ways you can help:

1. Shop!

Help these kids experience the joy of giving. Buy a gift from our Amazon Wish List. Send it to Fort Worth CPAs by November 30.

2. Help us wrap gifts on December 6!

Can your kids wrap presents? Invite them to join you at our Wrapping Party. Many helping hands are needed to wrap over 300 items we will collect for the Rivertree Christmas Party.  Great service opportunity for the whole family, and a great networking opportunity for you.

Wednesday, December 6

3. Volunteer on December 15!

This holiday party’s main activity is a pop-up shop for students to ‘purchase’ gifts for their parents and siblings.  Other merriment planned includes cookie decorating, Christmas stories, and lunch before departing. Stephanie Shaner is elf-in-charge. 30 CPA volunteers are needed for a successful, unforgettable party.
